Colorful Confidence: Wesley Hall
Celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, the fashion-forward risk-takers at Wesley Hall have put all chips in when it comes to experimenting with color. Walking in the brightly colored doors at the Wesley Hall showroom in High Point, North Carolina is quite literally a breath of fresh air as they keep doors open and welcoming as weather permits throughout the year. The giant doors, which get fresh paint every season, are just a preview of the whimsical color combinations contained inside.
Wesley Hall Leadership - President Zack Taylor & CEO Eddie Deal
Sitting down with president Zack Taylor, it is hard not to be distracted by the beautiful showroom displays. He confirms that color has been a huge part of their signature brand, claiming an expertise in flow as the not-so-secret source of their colorful creations. From fabric to frame, Wesley Hall has taken a casual, yet sophisticated, approach to modern interior design.

Inspiration for their creations come from many different sources – a healthy mix of international travel and local design. Taylor speaks excitedly about Wesley Hall’s eagerness to take a risk, “we work hand in hand with vendors for custom SKUs, we trust the leaders in the industry.”

A collaborative piece with designer Peter Jacob, only proves the accuracy of his bold statement. The modern masculine pieces with heavy wood bases earned the likes of many Instagram users at the High Point International Furniture Market in October. At the center of it all, a dark green sofa covered in our Capetown Abstinthe rests as the focal point of a well-designed room. This enthusiasm, combined with a team effort – a committee made up of Wesley Hall’s founder Ron Deal, president Zack Taylor, CEO Eddie Deal, creative director Amy Huff and visual merchant Darrell Fulbright – cross the gamut of age, attitude and style to invent the unique pieces that set their showroom apart.

Our relationship with Wesley Hall began 14 years ago, when the company was just beginning to experiment with leather. As we continued to grow our collections and expand our colors, Wesley Hall quickly began the creative process to showcase our fashionable colors in a design setting that really complemented their expertise in fabric and design. A circle of inspiring and being inspired is what still fuels both of us to keep pushing the envelope in developing innovative colors of leather and beautiful designs with leather.

Purposely steering clear of the typical buttoned-up corporate showroom, Wesley Hall has managed to create a playful elegance that overflows into every unique piece of furniture they have created. From bright yellow leather doors to the woodsy coziness of the Peter Jacob collection, Wesley Hall continues to inspire us to take risks.
