Natural leather in real life - no filters. Moore & Giles Mont Blanc and Seville leathers
In a short answer... YES!
Since leather is a luxury item, many shy away from choosing it as a covering for fear of ruining it. However, all the reasons people tend to
not choose leather are all the reasons they
should choose leather.
Compared to leather's cost-effective competitor, fabric, the lifespan of leather reigns. Fine fabrics require dry-cleaning and show wear easily with age, on the contrary, leather lasts almost 4-5 times longer and continues to look better with age. Natural leather can actually appreciate in value due to a rich patina which softens the hand and enhances the look. Leather wears in, it doesn't wear out. Look below for a few examples of patina on leather.

Leather is low maintenance and easy to clean (especially with the help of our
natural leather cleaning kit).
Even when scratched, the heat of your hand can help hide these small imperfections. Not only is leather easy upkeep, but the random entanglement of collagen fibers makes leather virtually puncture resistant. Did you know leather was used for
shields for years in battle?
Additionally, leather is porous and breathes which allows for a much more comfortable experience. This allows leather to be warm to the touch in winter and cool to the touch in summer.
Though higher in price than fabric, the benefits and sustainability of natural leather makes it a clear winner - able to withstand grubby kid hands, cat claws and coffee spills.
